A multi-axle side dump semi-trailer is a specialized bulk cargo transport vehicle engineered to discharge aggregates, ores, sand, and construction materials by tilting its cargo body sideways (to the left or right) using a series of heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders. Unlike traditional rear dump trailers that elevate their cargo box vertically from the front, a side dump trailer keeps its long chassis frame completely flat on the ground during unloading.
